I don't know, I didn't make the game. D:< The best reason I can think of is because the pokemon returns more feelings for you if it loves you, so therefore it fights harder. I don't know. D: Ask Nintendo.

XDD harhar Yeah Return can be quite the move. Oh yes there's also that 1.1 for Magnet. X3 forgot about hold items. XD Yeah, but only Dragonite is Dragon/flying, so an ice attack WOULD really own him... but... XD hurrr. But D< I like to have strategy. Out of my Elite team... Dragonite, Blastoise, Ninetails, Gengar, Raichu and Sandslash. D< *NAMES OFF HER STRATEGIES NOW* Dragonite (Haiku) has Fly, Outrage, Dragon Claw and Slam. So She's pretty good with high attack power. Blastoise Is basically like Haiku... high attack power. :\ Ninetails is my hero. I love her strategy I gave to her. She has Overheat, Will-o-wisp, confuse ray and flamethrower. First I usually burn the enemy with Will-o-wisp, then confuse them, then just flamethrower. XD They're usually dead so fast too, even before I start using flamethrower. Gengarrr yay. XD He's kinda weak right now, but I love my ghost pokemon. D< He's my replacement pokemon. He's got Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball and Psychic. he gets pretty pwned by Psychic types himself.. XD; so I can't use him very much against Psychic when I want to. :\ Raichu~ YAY. Thunder, Thunderbolt, Shockwave and Slam. XD I like to keep my pokemon's attacks the same as their type. It's better that way too for me, cause if Raichu went up against a rock type.. since I have a well-rounded team i'd just switch out to Blastoise. Sandslash. D< YAAAY. I forgot all his moves though.. XD; I haven't been using all of my elite team lately cause I've been leveling other pokemon. D< Well rounded teams always make me happy though. :B hurr. Then I don't have to use TMs of other type for my pokemon (Like an ice punch for Raichu... it'd be really helpful against ground types, but I've got a Blastoise for that. ) harharrr *shuts up*
